Community and Belonging
ONS Community,
New regulations and executive orders will not deter Out in National Security from providing a place of community and belonging for our LGBTQIA+ colleagues. We understand firsthand that national security relies upon unity, inclusion, and a shared commitment to protecting our nation. Together, we strengthen the fabric of the United States.
We are collaborating closely with numerous partners to identify meaningful ways to secure vital resources for our community, support members across the national security enterprise, and prepare an array of actions we can take together.
Since our founding, we have fostered community, connection, and belonging – and we will continue to do so. For those who can no longer gather at work or no longer feel comfortable, ONS will serve as a hub and a rallying point for as long as necessary.

We stand with our friends and colleagues across the federal government – both civilians and servicemembers – and will work with a wide constellation of civil society organizations to defend our hard-won rights and our place in government. We have upcoming programming to educate, engage, and empower all of you and bring our community together.
In solidarity,
ONS
