Canadian Defense and Security Network
The Canadian Defence and Security Network consists of more than 30 partners in Canada and beyond, including over one hundred scholars. Based at Carleton University, they aim to bring together academics, policy-makers, military officers, and civil society in Canada and connect them to those elsewhere. They use traditional and social media to amplify the research, and are developing a variety of training and networking activities to foster a more inclusive next generation of defense and security scholars, scientists, and policy officers.
Gender Champions in Nuclear Security
Gender Champions in Nuclear Policy is a leadership network that brings together heads of organizations working in nuclear policy who are committed to break down gender barriers and make gender equity a working reality in their spheres of influence. Gender Champions include Presidents, Directors, and other institutional heads of organizations whose agendas and/or members address nuclear nonproliferation, nuclear weapons policy, nuclear disarmament, nuclear security, nuclear deterrence, nuclear energy, and other related topics.
The Intelligence and National Security Alliance
The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) is the leading nonpartisan, nonprofit trade association for driving public-private partnerships to advance intelligence and national security priorities.
INSA has more than 160 corporate members and enjoys extensive participation from senior leaders within the public, private, and academic sectors. Members include current and former high-ranking intelligence, military and government agency leaders, analysts, and experts from industry and academia.
Victory Institute
The Victory Fund is the only national organization dedicated to elevating openly LGBTQ leaders who can further equality at all levels of government. Through their training and professional development programs, each year, Victory Institute assists hundreds of individuals who go on to influential careers in politics, government, business, and advocacy.
Out in National Security is a proud partner of Victory Institute’s Presidential Appointments Initiative – a coalition of more than 30 LGBTQ organizations – which works to support presidential administrations in ensuring qualified LGBTQ people are included in the federal government across all agencies and levels.
